Maritsa Hartlove

Choosing the right wedding officiant is essential. It’s so much more than just saying the words. It’s the person who helps create one of the most meaningful moments on your wedding day.

With over 12 years professional experience officiating weddings in the Wilmington area, I help couples craft a wedding ceremony that embodies the love that they share. As a long time officiant, I understand how important it is to create a ceremony that is special and I will help you step-by-step through the process of choosing the right passages, rites and creating personal vows.

Based in Wilmington NC, I also officiate weddings in neighboring areas including Wrightsville Beach, Topsail Beach, Carolina Beach, Oak Island, Emerald Isle, Little River, Jacksonville and Myrtle Beach.

Because of my background as an educator, I am able to bring creativity as well as strong communication, organization, and years of experience connecting with people. In 2014, I was ordained through the National Association of Christian Ministers.

Pricing

My fee is $250, which includes writing and performing your marriage ceremony as well as filing your marriage license with the Office of Deeds. This also includes a meeting before the wedding with the bride and groom to plan the wedding ceremony speeches.

There is an additional $75 fee for a wedding rehearsal.

A $50 travel fee may be charged if the travel time is over an hour in each direction.
